Beginner's Guide
What is Baccarat?
Baccarat is one of the most elegant and straightforward casino games. Despite its sophisticated reputation, it's pretty simple to learn and play. The goal is to predict which hand will have a total closest to 9: the Player's or the Banker's hand.
Basic Rules
Card Values
Aces = 1 point
Cards 2-9 = Face value
10s, Jacks, Queens, Kings = 0 points
How Scoring Works
Add up the card values in each hand
If the total is more than 9, only the last digit counts
Example: 7 + 6 = 13, but the hand value is 3
Types of Bets Available
Our platform offers 5 different betting options:
1. Player Bet (1.95x payout)
Bet that the Player hand will win
Pays 2:1 if you win
2. Banker Bet (1.95x payout)
Bet that the Banker's hand will win
Pays 1.95:1 if you win (slightly lower due to better odds)
3. Tie Bet (9.00x payout)
Bet that both hands will have the same value
Pays 9:1 if you win (rare but high payout)
4. Player Pair Bet (12.00x payout)
Bet that the Player's first two cards will be the same number
Pays 12:1 if you win
5. Banker Pair Bet (12.00x payout)
Bet that the Banker's first two cards will be the same number
Pays 12:1 if you win
How a Hand is Played
Initial Deal
The Player gets 2 cards
The Banker gets 2 cards
All cards are dealt face up
Drawing Rules (Automatic)
The game follows strict rules for when a third card is drawn:
Player Rules:
If the Player total is 0-5: draws a third card
If the Player total is 6-7: stands (no third card)
If the Player total is 8-9: "Natural" - no more cards
Banker Rules:
If the Banker's total is 0-2: always draws a third card
If the Banker total is 3-6: drawing depends on the Player's third card
If the Banker total is 7: always stands
If Banker total is 8-9: "Natural" - no more cards
Don't worry about memorizing these rules - they're handled automatically!
Winning Conditions
